Photo cube or cloud light: choosing a personalized photo gift

Compare the four-photo cube and single-photo Dream Cloud by photograph count, display space and personalization before choosing a keepsake gift.

A personalized photo light can be a thoughtful Christmas, anniversary or just-because gift. Before choosing the shape, think about the photographs you want to share and where the recipient might display them. Our photo cube and Dream Cloud take different approaches: one brings four memories together, while the other gives one photograph its own named display.

Start with one photograph or four

The Memories in a New Light photo cube has four separate white lithophane panels in a black frame. Choose photographs for the front, left side, right side and top.

That arrangement suits a collection: four family moments, several pictures of a favourite pet or different parts of a shared celebration. Decide which image should face forward rather than treating every position as interchangeable.

The Dream Box — Classic Cloud uses one white photo panel and a separate personalized nameplate. Consider it when one portrait or particular moment is the focus of the gift. You can give that image room to stand on its own without finding three more photographs to accompany it.

Compare the space on the shelf

The cube measures 120 × 120 × 120 mm, approximately 4.72 inches each way. Its square footprint is useful to measure against the intended desk, shelf or bedside table.

Dream Cloud is approximately 8 inches wide and 6 inches tall, including its base. The base is approximately 2.36 inches deep. It is wider than the cube but has a shallower listed base depth.

Use a ruler to mark out the space before deciding. Also think about the viewing position: the cube places photographs on several faces, while the cloud presents one photo panel. Leave room to connect the light rather than judging fit from a product photograph alone.

Choose the personalization that matters

The cube keeps its black frame and white panels, putting the emphasis on your four photographs.

Dream Cloud adds a printed nameplate and a housing colour choice: Powder Blue, Blush Pink, Ivory or Black. Check the name spelling carefully and choose a colour that the recipient would enjoy displaying.

Both products include installed LED lighting and are supplied assembled as working plug-in keepsakes. Dream Cloud uses USB-powered LED-strip lighting. Check the individual listing for the current included items and ordering details.

Review the gift before ordering

Open the Lithophane Maker, select the intended style and review your photo crop. For the cube, check every position; for the cloud, review the photograph and name together.

Product artwork shows illustrative examples. Finished texture, contrast and glow depend on the photograph, filament and lighting, so use the preview to check your arrangement rather than expecting an exact match to a screen image.

Choose the cube for a collection of memories or Dream Cloud for one photograph with a name. Then review the current price and collection options before placing your order.
