YOUR INFORMATION
Privacy policy
Last updated October 31, 2026 · Operated by Jeff & Christine in Canada.Information you provide
When you order or contact us, we collect the details you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, shipping address when applicable, order notes, product selections and personalization text. For photo products, we receive the photos, crops, design settings and generated print files submitted with your order.
We use these details to make your products, arrange payment and pickup or shipping, send order updates, respond to questions and keep business records. Order photos and print files are stored with your private order records and are not automatically published on the store or by our Facebook planner.
Payments and digital purchases
PayPal processes payments when you choose PayPal. We retain payment references, amounts and payment status to match the transaction to your order; our website does not collect your PayPal password or card number. Your payment provider handles payment information under its own privacy policy.
Digital orders also retain the purchase details and download-access records needed to provide your purchased files. For e-Transfer, your bank processes the transfer and we use the payment details received to confirm your order.
Character Studio invitation emails
Future paid invitation emails include a small tracking image and a tracked Studio link. We store detected image loads, link clicks, counts and first/last activity times against the invitation, to understand engagement. These events are approximate: privacy proxies and security scanners may create or hide activity. Tracking links use random identifiers, not access keys or email addresses. We do not store IP addresses or browser identifiers in these activity records. Supported Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control request signals suppress recording. Opening or clicking an email does not sign you in, spend money or use a design allowance. Reply “unsubscribe” to stop invitation emails, or contact us about deleting engagement records.
Reviews
A review submission includes a display name, email address, rating and review text. Approved reviews display your chosen display name, rating, text and any store reply publicly. Your email address stays private. We also store a hash derived from the submission IP address to limit spam and duplicate submissions.
Please avoid putting private information in your public review. Contact us if you want to correct or remove a review.
Website storage and analytics
Browser storage supports your cart and a randomly generated visitor identifier. Our store analytics record visits, pages viewed, traffic sources, selected cart items and options, cart value and whether a cart becomes an order.
For digital downloads, we also record when an anonymous checkout is opened, its design and licence selection, potential order value, chosen payment method and recent activity time. These activity records do not capture typed names, email addresses, payment details or form contents. Submitted orders retain the details described above. Checkout activity is approximate and respects browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Checkout activity records are cleared after seven days when new checkout activity is processed. We separately count clicks on each digital design’s “Get the design” button. These anonymous click records contain only a random event identifier, the design and click time, and are retained to provide cumulative counts. They are not linked to customers or orders, and also respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control.
Google Analytics is used on public shopping and information pages to understand traffic and site use. It may use cookies and collect device, browser and interaction information. The site's configuration disables Google Signals and advertising personalization signals. Google Analytics is excluded from admin pages, payment pages and private order-access pages.
When an order is placed, the website may retain its existing Google Analytics browser and session identifiers alongside the order to report confirmed purchases and their CAD values to Google Analytics and linked Google Ads. Purchase reporting contains the order reference, value and product category, not customer names, emails, addresses, uploaded photos or private order links. Payment confirmation may occur later for e-Transfers. This order attribution respects browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Advertising personalization remains disabled. Ad attribution can be limited by browser blocking and delayed payments.
On the public photo-box builder, an advertising tag measures page visits and campaign attribution. A builder visit is counted as a page-view conversion, not a paid order. This event does not include uploaded photos, form contents or private order links.
Authentication services use cookies or session information when you sign in. Our hosting and service providers may process technical information, such as network addresses and request logs, to deliver and protect the site. You can manage cookies and browser storage in your browser; blocking them may affect carts or sign-in.
Facebook post manager
The Meta app named 3dproducts post manager is an administrative tool for our own 3dproducts.ca Facebook Page. Authorized administrators provide a Page access token. The site stores the token encrypted, together with the Page ID, Page name and connection date.
The tool verifies the Page connection and sends the captions, public product photos and posting times approved by an administrator to Meta. It records draft content, approval details, Facebook post IDs, scheduling status and publishing errors. It does not provide Facebook login for store customers and does not request their Facebook passwords, private messages or friends lists.
Meta receives the selected content when an administrator publishes or schedules a post. An administrator can disconnect the stored Page connection in Marketing → Facebook Page. For removal requests, see our data deletion instructions.
Service providers and protection
Relevant information is processed by the services needed to run the store: hosting and storage, email delivery, payment processing, authentication, Google Analytics and Meta for Facebook publishing. These providers may process information outside Canada. Access to private order records and administration features is restricted to authorized administrators.
We do not sell customer personal information. Information may be disclosed where needed to complete your order, with your permission, or where required by law.
Retention, access and deletion
Order files and records are retained to fulfill orders, support customer enquiries and repeat orders, manage payments and maintain business records. There is currently no automatic deletion date for completed order files.
You can ask us to access, correct or delete information associated with your order, review or app connection. We may need to verify the request and retain records needed for legal, accounting or payment-dispute purposes. We will explain any information that cannot be removed. See how to request deletion.
Contact and updates
For privacy questions, requests or concerns, contact Jeff & Christine at jeff@3dproducts.ca. If our practices change, we will update this page and its revision date.
Shipping orders
We retain the recipient name, shipping address, contact details and order details to calculate shipping, fulfil orders and provide support. Delivery details are shared with the shipping provider when needed. Guest orders do not require an account. Private order links provide access to your order and should not be shared. Shipping details are not published as NFC owner contact details, and ordering does not sign you up for marketing. Contact us about access, corrections or deletion; records needed for accounting or legal obligations may need to be retained.
Custom holder studios
We store your design description, reference uploads, contact details, review history and any accepted quote to prepare your custom design and provide support. With your consent, your reference image and design fields are sent to an external AI service for a suitability assessment. Your name and email are excluded from that assessment payload. 3D model generation also uses external processing services after design approval and payment or generation authorization. Request files are private; your tracking link grants access and should be kept private. PayPal processes payments; we retain payment references and status, not card details. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion, subject to records we must retain.
